The Kerya Water Recycling Center is built on the tidal land and located between the estuary of Sanshing Creek and Dazhuang Creek in Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City. It is a quasi-tertiary biological treatment plant that can treat 130,000 tons of domestic wastewater per day (full period). Its treatment capacity covers the domestic wastewater of Hsinchu City. The Hsinchu Municipal Government completes the first phase of this project under the assistance of the Construction and Planning Agency Ministry of Interior. It is designed to treat 30,000 tons of domestic wastewater per day. The Hsinchu City Kerya Water Resources Environmental Education Center is a part of the Kerya Water Recycling Center. It can connect the 17-kilometer coastline of Hsinchu City with the tourist industry of Siangshan Wetland, and promotes the conservation and utilization of water resources in order to reach the purposes of environmental education and sustainable management of water resources.

In 2013, Yun Hsien Resort passed environmental education facility centering on "ecological conservation" via the Environmental Protection Administration, and the park transformed into an ecological leisure experience park. In addition to rich ecological resources, It also cooperates with government policies to promote green restaurants and environmentally friendly hotels to educate consumers.

Located in the central of Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake is a famous scenic area since 1900s. This gigantic lake hidden in the mountains always amazes travelers by its serenity and beauty. Beyond its beauty, the functionality of this lake is astonishing. Not only being the biggest hydroelectricity in Taiwan, but it also provided 60% of total electricity in Taiwan back in 1940s. For advocating the importance of environmental education, the administration certified this lake and its lakeside as Sun Moon Lake Environmental Education Center.
One of the unique spots is Xiangshan Visitor Center. Designed by Dan Norihiko, it represents the harmony between nature and human. Throughout the canopy design and the curved outline, the designer turns this building into a hill-like landscape instead of a boxy building. Furthermore, the energy-saving, air circulation and rain collection system let the entire visitor center become a cozy environment despite the weather outside. It realizes the dream that people can live with nature, not against it.

Therefore, the National Science and Technology Museum is dedicated to the research, design, and display of various technological themes, and to introduce important technological development and its influence on everyday lives.

Kaohsiung City Animal Protection Office is one of competent Authority in Kaohsiung City. Kaohsiung County and Kaohsiung City have been combined since 2011. We actively would like to integrate and establish an animal shelter which could provide good quality for animals and try to let citizens to have the knowledge of animal protection act. We wish animal could have better living quality and wish citizen to visit the shelter. The best wish is that we hope citizen could adopt the animal from the shelter. The things we set out to do are that we wish to improve animal welfare, turnover rate of space, and citizens’ willingness to adopt the animal. We don’t need a concentration camp for animals or build a disposal area which people don’t want to visit. The area of Kaohsiung Yanchao Animal Protection and Education Park is 0.9 hectare. We have two divisions, Administration Center and Adoption and Education Center. We had a preparation in 2012 and started construction on September in 2014. Then, we completed the project on May and opened the area on July in 2016. We take care of the animal welfare, disease control and energy saving and carbon reduction. We have total 360 dogs and cats currently.

In order to assist Kaohsiung City in realizing the environmental education action target of "Low Carbon Sustainable Development, Creating a Green City", we provide and establish the four environmental education learning areas of "Water Recycling", "Water Recovery", "Water Recycling", "Water Recirculation", and "Water Ecology" for the public, and through the courses, exploration, and experience, we will learn about the concepts of the sustainable coexistence of human beings, water, water, and the environment, the environment, and human beings, and gradually build up a correct connotation and spirit of environmental education, and become a seed for friendly environmental action.
