Environmental Education Centers Introduction
Kinmen National Park is the 6th national park in Taiwan. It is the first national park in Taiwan to conserve the history. Combined with mingnan culture, expatriates and war memorial, you can mmerse yourself into a living history encyclopedia.
MOREThis site is located in Lieyu Township, Kinmen County, which is known as "the outer island among the outer islands and the front line among the front lines." It is only 5 kilometers away from Xiamen, mainland China. This site is the only basalt coast in Kinmen with a special onion shape. Weathered columnar basalt, granite and other geological landscapes, as well as seasonal greenstone troughs like a green carpet from March to May every year. Because Lieyu Township is surrounded by the sea and has rich coastal flora and fauna, Lieyu Township Office has proposed it as an environmental education site. Through environmental education courses, Lieyu Township is expected to protect the geological landscape and coastal ecology of Lieyu Island and reduce the number of tourists. It brings about garbage and pollution, protects the ecological environment of coastal animals and plants, promotes the development of tourism, and also maintains the beauty of the natural environment to achieve the goal of environmental sustainability.
